The third edition of Vogue festival is over. 30th March on the last day of the weekend, more discussion panels and lots of great guests. The subjects of the talks were :
- "What's it really like to be a model?"- Karlie Kloss, Rosie Huntington- Whiteley ,Jourdan Dunn , Edie Campbell
- "Fashion , Beauty and digital revolution"- Pixie Gedlof, Miroslava Dumna
- "Good Taste, bad taste: The sock of the new"- Lily Allen, Grayson Perry, Jasper Conran
- "Want to work in fashion vogue's fashion Masterclass"- Alexandra Shulman, Sarah Burton,Daniel Marks, Louise Wilson
This time I chose the ones that interests me the most. The first one of them "What's it really like to be a model? " with the four popular models. Karlie Kloss is American fashion model She ended up walking 31 runways in New York Fashion Week, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley - british model angel Victoria Secret she is also actress, Jourdan Dunn - british model we can see her in campagne Topshop also Rihanna collection for River Island , Edie Campbell - another british model Campbell started modelling after she appeared in a Vogue feature by Mario Testino. We can see her in cover Love Magazine.
The models were happy to tell about their childhood and how they became the models in the first place. They all said that being in the fashion industry weren't their dream. They cross their paths with fashion more because of a coincidence. Lots of questions were asked about the diet and Rosie said that " it's important what you eat , because the better you give to your body then the best body gives back" They agree that modelling is more of a lifestyle than work. I have to say that they all looked great as on the covers of the magazines!

Another panel I was attending "Good Taste , bad taste: The sock of the new" with Lily Allen. She's english recording artist and actress also with very excentric artist Gryson Perry is a pionieer to pick one of fashion's key new trends - normcore, Jasper Conran english fashion designer.
The discussion was in good taste ;) but of course the panelists were judging the taste of some of the famous people in the industry. My opinion is that you can very easy misjudge someone about the taste and I think that diversity gives fashion a freedom to express. I guess you can't really learn it or you get born with a good taste or not.

The most important panel for me "Want to work in fashion Vogue's fashion Masterclass" didn't really give any good tips or knowledge. The guests were : Alexandra Shulman- Editor Vogue, Sarah Burton- Creative director, Alexander McQeen,Daniel Marks-Director and partner, The Commmunications Store and Louise Wilson - Course director, Central Saint Martins. The said that work in the fashion industry isn't easy and you need a lot of hard work and sacrifice to get to the top. The luck is also a big factor I guess it's as important as determination and knowledge. I'm wishing you all the best to achieve your goals and dreams XXX ;)
