After work on Wednesday I went to Marks and Spencer for the launch of a new collection designed specially for them by Alexa Chung.For those of you who have never heard of her in a few words I can say she is a fashion icon, It girl, fashion editor , and for sure a great talent.

She was joined by shoppers eager to get a first look at her 31 piece collection. Definitely my favorite piece was a white high neck shirt, which you can see you soon on one of my posts. One of the fashion designers told a one newspaper about the collection. "The collection is about reverting classics, they are statement pieces which I think will be worn for a very long time", it's hard not to agree with her words. Her collection is available in a number of stores - around 55 according to M&S' website - as well as online. Congratulations Alexa it was great to meet you ;)

Necking IT. Choker. 2016

It was only a matter of time before we could see this trend coming back, it was in the shadows heavy accessories for a long time of course I am talking about the choker ,yes as seen on the catwalks of, Versace, Emporio Armani,Jonathan Sanders, J.W ANDERSON SS16 , it has come back in a big style, not like in the 90s when it was a simple ribbon as worn by Matilda in the movie Leon. The professionals or Sabrina The witch . This season have taken the choker to another level in our imagination made from plastic ,silver ,metal and different materials, and mixed and matched with stone as by Dior and Louis Vuitton. The new Choker is not only sexy but more feminine and sophisticated.
Rihanna Who is a big fan of the 90s start wearin choker cople years back. The last time she was seen wearing a simple choker, gold plated with a ribbon from Moxham, was during New York fashion week debut this year.

What to wear now...DENIM!

Denim. It's not the first big comeback for denim , what I love in this trend is that denim creates an instant style, that is simple and practical, it can be elegant or a rebellious ,also the best thing about denim is that everyone and anybody can look good in denim, but what is really hot on the denim scene for SS16 and which denim trend will I focus on?

Hmm first Culottes and trousers like my Chloe jeans that I was wearing at LFW16 this year, you can see them on my previous post and boyfriend Jeans. Second an oversized denim jacket, a ripped jacket or a jacket with a patch. Third is definitely daily wear denim, you can mix and match different pieces of denim fabrics.

The look for today is a deffinition of daily wear denim, there is nothing better. Denim is a practical and relaxed casual fashion that is the reason this trend has come back and this is the real power of denim.
