LFW SS14 : Friday 13th-17th September

The London Fashion week started with a bang!  I was invited to the Fyodor Golan fashion show called '' Electric children '' at Covent Garden in London. It was one of the rainy days, so the weather was not very fashionable. My outfit for the event : dress / Rihanna for River Island AW2013, shorts & shoes / H&M, tights/Camden Town Stables Market, jacket / Select, metallic clutch bag & ring / Other Stories.

The show was a big surprise for me because it was very different from their previous shows with more inspiration from street fashion. The show included : boxy sweatshirt, cropped bombers and very tight pencil skirts. Some people attending the event thought they shouldn't go in that direction (street) but I loved the idea. I hope the boys will be looking to the street for the inspiration in the future shows.


The designers said about their collection '' We were inspired by the morning runners and bikers that we seen on our daily walk to our studio. We loved the idea of flexible and  energetic sportwear achieved through  luxury fabrics ''. 


The rest of the show took place at Somerset House which is the home of the BFC's catwalk tent. BFC courtyard show space on Friday 13th September included: Bora Aksu,  J. Js. Lee, Daks, Christopher Raeburn, Jean- Pierre Braganza, PPQ.

On the show there was Yvan Rodic also known as a Facehunter who I met before this year in Warsaw and also lots of interesting people from the world of fashion.
