WangxHM

3 days ago H&M launched Alexander Wang collection in their stores. He's the one of the most important fashion designers nowadays. I think H&M scored jackpot choosing him for a collaboration. Karl Lagerfeld was one of the first top notch designers to collaborate with high street brands. That success made path for others . Few others who also were associated with high street brand H&M are: Stella McCartney, Victor&Rolf ( this collection wasn't commercial success but it was interesting, Roberto Cavalli ( his night dresses were gone so fast  as fresh buns from  the bakery.,  Matthew Williamson ( his tropical patterns  were trend setters, Jimmy Choo ( major success, for the first time he designed clothes not only shoes), Comme des Garcos ( showed dot patterns which were very popular especially by Rei Kawakubo fans. Sonia Rykel also collaborated with Swedish brand, colourful designs and girl glamour thats her collection in few words. When Lanvin announced his collection for H&M I couldn't wait for it, but when it finally came out , his tulle dresses didn't convince me and I the whole thing was a disappointment. The big Italian house Versace was 100% success , tropical patterns glamourous, rich colours and additions . The best part of it was my favourite skirt, whenever I'm wearing it people ask where do I get it from!. Marni , other italian fashion house wasn't commercial hit and long after the launch clothes were still on the shelves ...The best item was  leather roman sandals which I get on the sale ;) The collaboration of Martin Maison Margiela was major surprise, his style is very speific I would call it "hard". The clothes were very interesting but people did not storm the shops to buy them. Isabel Marant collaborated with H&M just last year and I was mad about the sequin pants she designed also silver bomber jacket landed in my wardrobe ;)
Let's come back to Alexander Wang,. The collection is absolute hit. The male clothes were all sold under 30 mins and there was a massive queue and people were really fighting to get anything on the London premiere. I was extremely lucky to get few items from it. I really love oversize blouse made from scuba diving materials, oversize t-shirt , leather bag and a longsleave jumper. The clothes have 3 things in common :  monochrome tone, comfortability, universality

I wear:

Crop blouse/Leather Bag/ Alexander WangxHM
Trousers/ Body/ Forever 21
Heels/ H&M
